Responsibilities
- Assess & Monitor: Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and continuously monitor vital signs to ensure optimal safety and recovery.
- Medication Management: Accurately administer medications and treatments while adhering to strict hospital protocols and physician orders.
- Care Planning: Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized, evidence-based care plans.
- Patient Advocacy: Educate patients and families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Documentation: Maintain precise, timely electronic health records (EHR) documenting all patient interactions and progress.
- Emergency Response: Respond swiftly and effectively to critical situations and emergency alerts.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Pennsylvania required.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Bachelor of Science in Nursing [BSN] preferred).
- Certifications: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Skills: Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and proficiency in electronic medical record systems.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a compassionate bedside manner.
