Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough initial and ongoing patient assessments to identify health needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Medication Management: Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Clinical Excellence: Monitor vital signs and patient conditions in real-time, responding immediately to any changes or emergencies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure holistic patient outcomes.
- Documentation: Maintain precise and up-to-date medical records and electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with legal standards.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and families on disease management, medication adherence, and post-discharge care instructions.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio.
- Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and assessment abilities under pressure.
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and diverse healthcare teams.
