Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vitals and respond immediately to emergencies or changes in condition.
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Adhere to all safety and regulatory standards and hospital policies.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state of Oregon.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting (Med-Surg or ICU preferred).
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Compassionate demeanor with a strong patient-centered focus.
