Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care across diverse medical units including ER, ICU, and Med-Surg
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and compassion
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Lead patient education initiatives for chronic disease management
- Mentor junior nursing staff and clinical rotation students
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Active NM RN license with unrestricted status
- BSN or higher degree preferred (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience
- Proficiency in Epic EHR systems
- Demonstrated excellence in critical thinking and crisis management
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
