Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by gathering relevant information, including health history and symptoms.
- Develop and implement comprehensive nursing care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians in strict accordance with protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to interventions, alerting physicians to any changes.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.
- Document all patient care activities, assessments, and interventions accurately.
Qualifications
- Current and valid RN license to practice in the State of Texas.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a high-volume environment.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
