Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and care plans.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and document clinical changes accurately in EMR systems.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures safely and timely under physician orders.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Provide patient and family education to ensure understanding of care plans and discharge instructions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental meetings to enhance patient safety.
Qualifications
- Current and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
- ACLS and BLS certifications required (ARRC or AHA preferred).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with electronic health records (EHR).
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining a positive demeanor.
