Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance, as required.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, symptoms, and changes in medical condition.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the RN or Physician.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and update patient care plans.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and organized environment for patients and staff at all times.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and physicians regarding care status and updates.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and assist in code blue activations when necessary.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered RN, CNA, or LPN license in the State of Florida.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (depending on role).
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a hospital, nursing home, or acute care setting.
- Strong knowledge of nursing procedures and patient safety standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and transferring patients.
- Demonstrated compassion and a strong commitment to patient advocacy.
