Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, symptoms, and changes in condition accurately.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Provide compassionate direct patient care, assistance with daily living activities, and emotional support.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Document patient progress, care provided, and any changes in condition in the electronic medical record.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and alarms.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients at all times.
Qualifications
- Current, active RN or CNA license in the state of Texas.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS certification required.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
- Flexibility to work rotating night shifts.
