Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs and administering medication as directed.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to ensure their dignity and comfort.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to coordinate care.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency situations in accordance with hospital protocols.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-discharge care instructions.
Qualifications
- Current RN or CNA license in the state of Georgia (FL license considered for travel).
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods.
- Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to patient advocacy.
- High school diploma or GED required for CNA roles; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or BSN preferred for RN roles.
