Responsibilities
- Provide advanced assessment and intervention for critically ill patients in ICU/CCU settings
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while monitoring vital signs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document clinical observations and interventions accurately in EMR systems
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and disease management
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice projects
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the State of Ohio
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 3+ years ICU experience considered)
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of critical care nursing experience
- Strong assessment skills and clinical judgment abilities
- Proficiency in Epic EMR documentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to continuous professional development
