Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols and standards.
- Monitor patient vital signs and medical conditions closely, escalating critical issues immediately.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Provide emotional support and health education to patients and their families.
- Respond effectively to medical emergencies and coordinate care during high-acuity situations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
