Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with state nursing regulations and facility standards.
- Monitor patient vitals and health status, reporting significant changes to the healthcare team immediately.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accuracy and safety.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatments, and preventative care strategies.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice (FL or TN).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to perform physical duties including standing, walking, lifting, and bending for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
