Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with facility protocols and nursing standards.
- Monitor patient vital signs, symptoms, and progress to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare team members.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records and care plans.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS or PALS preferred based on specialty.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well under pressure in fast-paced environments.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Willingness to be flexible with shift assignments (Day, Night, or Weekend).
