Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care in diverse clinical settings including ICU, ER, and Med-Surg units
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document patient assessments accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and hospital protocols
- Assess patient needs and communicate effectively with families and medical staff
- Utilize electronic health records (EHR) systems for precise documentation
Qualifications
- Active RN license in North Carolina (or compact state)
- BSN degree preferred; ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered
- BLS certification; ACLS/PALS required for specialized units
- Minimum 1 year of acute care experience in hospital setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights and weekends
