Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care in acute care, long-term, or specialty settings
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor patient vitals and document clinical observations accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop care plans
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge protocols
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and facility-specific regulations
- Respond to emergency situations with swift clinical intervention
Qualifications
- Active California RN license in good standing
- BSN or Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience
- BLS/ACLS certifications required
- Ability to work 8-12 hour shifts with flexible availability
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Proficiency with EMR systems (Epic preferred)
