Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patient health conditions, recording vital signs and medical histories accurately.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in strict accordance with healthcare protocols and regulations.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement effective patient care plans.
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families regarding medical conditions and discharge instructions.
- Document patient care services, changes in patient condition, and interventions in the electronic medical record in a timely manner.
- Respond immediately to medical emergencies and changing patient needs within the unit.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment by adhering to sanitation standards and infection control protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York or Florida (dual license preferred).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical facility setting.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and staff.
- Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate patient-centered care.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
