Responsibilities
- Assess patient health needs, develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient progress and response to treatment, adjusting care plans as necessary.
- Provide direct patient care, including wound care, hygiene, and mobility assistance.
- Document patient information accurately and in a timely manner using electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
- Respond to emergency situations promptly and effectively.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Colorado.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience preferred, but new graduates with strong clinical rotations may be considered.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of patients.
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
