Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and document changes in condition immediately.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
- Participate in unit rounds, shift handovers, and quality improvement meetings.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume hospital environment.
- Commitment to patient safety and professional ethical standards.
