Responsibilities
- Perform accurate patient vitals, including blood pressure, temperature, and weight measurements.
- Assist physicians and nurse practitioners during patient examinations and procedures.
- Prepare patients for examinations, ensuring comfort and privacy.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by licensed personnel.
- Manage and update electronic health records (EHR) with precision and confidentiality.
- Coordinate patient referrals and laboratory testing as needed.
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and organized clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively during night shifts and weekends.
- Proficient in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
