Responsibilities

  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any abnormalities to the charge nurse or physician immediately.
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments while adhering to strict safety protocols.
  • Document patient care activities, intake/output, and clinical notes accurately in the electronic health record.
  • Assist the healthcare team with procedures, patient transport, and maintaining a sterile environment.
  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding their care plans.
  • Respond promptly to emergency codes and assist in trauma situations as needed.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited Nursing Program (ADN or BSN).
  • Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (ACLS preferred, but training provided).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a high-paced team setting.
