Responsibilities
- Monitor patient health status by performing physical exams and taking detailed medical histories.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and following strict protocols.
- Document patient care services, including assessments, interventions, and responses to treatment.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and medication adherence.
- Assist in the admission, transfer, and discharge processes to ensure smooth patient flow.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment in accordance with safety standards.
Qualifications
- Current and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the state of Texas.
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing program (BSN preferred, ADN accepted).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS certification preferred or willing to obtain.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient empathy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare setting.
- Detail-oriented with strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
