Job Overview
As an Entry-Level Registered Nurse, you will work closely with our nursing staff to provide high-quality patient care. You will be the vital link in our patient care team, ensuring comfort, safety, and recovery for every individual we serve.
Responsibilities
- Perform initial patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health status.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and feeding patients.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Document patient care activities, symptoms, and progress in electronic medical records accurately.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Collaborate with charge nurses to prioritize patient needs and manage the unit efficiently.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and educational training sessions.
Qualifications
- Education: Must possess a valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Experience: No prior professional experience required. New graduate RNs (ADN or BSN) are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers (ACLS preferred but not mandatory for entry).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Character: Strong empathy, resilience, and a commitment to ethical nursing practice.
- Physical Ability: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical assistance tasks.
