Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized, patient-centered care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with medical orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor vital signs and report significant changes to the healthcare team promptly.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and interdisciplinary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate, detailed patient records and documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Ensure a safe and clean environment by adhering to infection control and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Kansas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment.
