Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment: Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs.
- Care Planning: Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Medication Management: Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely medical records and patient documentation.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Licensure: Current, active RN license in the state of Wisconsin.
- Entry Level: Must be a recent graduate or currently in the process of obtaining licensure.
- Skills: Basic life support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
- Attributes: Strong critical thinking skills, empathy, and a commitment to patient safety.
