Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care across diverse clinical settings including ICU, ER, and Med-Surg units
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Adhere to hospital protocols, JCAHO standards, and state nursing regulations
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and documentation using electronic health records
- Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions with precision
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, discharge planning, and preventive care
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Kentucky or compact state with willingness to obtain KY license
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience in assigned specialty
- BLS, ACLS, and specialty certifications (e.g., TNCC, ENPC) required
- Strong critical thinking and adaptability in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with diverse patients
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts and weekends as needed
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
