Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by performing physical exams and reviewing medical histories.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition or emergency situations immediately.
- Document patient care activities, observations, and interventions accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Provide patient education and discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)).
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the California Board of Nursing.
- Eligible for Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Recent nursing graduates within 12 months of graduation date are highly encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
