Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by performing physical examinations and reviewing medical histories.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and licensed practitioners.
- Monitor patient progress and response to therapies, adjusting care plans as necessary.
- Document patient care services, including clinical findings and patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate intervention when required.
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and disease prevention.
Qualifications
- Current, active RN license issued by the Georgia Board of Nursing.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a high-paced environment.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Ability to lift and move patients as required by job duties.
- CPR certification in accordance with AHA standards.
