Responsibilities
- Provide Direct Patient Care: Deliver compassionate nursing care to patients, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with daily living activities.
- Shift Flexibility: Adapt quickly to different shift schedules, including day, night, weekend, and holiday rotations, ensuring 24/7 patient coverage.
- Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough medical records and patient logs in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Patient Advocacy: Act as an advocate for patients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and needs are met at all times during your shift.
- Infection Control: Strictly adhere to hospital protocols to prevent the spread of infection and ensure a sterile environment.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required. Graduates from accredited nursing programs are encouraged to apply.
- Licensure: Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong patient-centric approach.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities with a positive attitude.
