Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by gathering relevant data and medical history.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes in patient condition immediately.
- Document all patient care activities accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and social workers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical facility setting.
- Strong proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner).
- Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
