Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with facility protocols and state nursing regulations.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including physical, emotional, and social needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, strictly adhering to safety standards.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters, medications, and shifts in condition.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and post-discharge care instructions.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee (or Compact State).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients, families, and staff.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing patient care needs.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
