Responsibilities
- Assess patient health issues, needs, and recovery progress by taking vital signs, performing physical exams, and reviewing medical histories.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols and medication administration rights.
- Monitor patients' conditions continuously and promptly report any changes or adverse reactions to the healthcare team.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, wellness, and home healthcare instructions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Provide emotional support to patients and families during critical times.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the State of Oklahoma.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications are required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and medical staff.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of patients.
