Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced RN to provide high-quality, patient-centered care. You will play a vital role in our clinical team, ensuring our patients receive the attention and treatment they deserve while maintaining a safe and efficient unit.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient progress and respond promptly to changes in condition.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to families and patients.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Virginia.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS/PALS preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting (Med-Surg preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
