Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with evidence-based nursing practices
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform diagnostic tests
- Educate patients and families on health management and preventive care
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and hospital committees
- Respond effectively to emergency situations using ACLS/BLS protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Nebraska
- BSN degree required (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred
- ACLS/BLS certifications required (PALS/NRP a plus)
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Experience with Epic EHR system preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends and holidays
