Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care across diverse medical units including ICU, ER, and general medicine
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document electronic health records accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on treatment protocols and preventive care
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and infection control protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and process optimization
Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN license (or compact license)
- BSN degree required; MSN preferred
- 2+ years of acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
