Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on evidence-based practices.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with hospital protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, responding promptly to changes in condition to ensure safety.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide patient and family education regarding medical conditions, discharge planning, and home care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care in electronic health records (EHR).
- Uphold hospital policies regarding infection control and patient confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Georgia.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience preferred, with strong background in Medical-Surgical or Critical Care.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Commitment to patient safety, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice standards.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
