Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond immediately to any changes in condition or emergencies.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and recovery.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of North Carolina.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience (travel nursing or hospital experience preferred).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment.
