Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on medical needs.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with strict medical protocols and state regulations.
- Monitor patient vitals and health status, escalating critical issues to physicians immediately.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Document patient progress, symptoms, and care details accurately in electronic health records.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families regarding diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in accordance with infection control standards.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the state of Minnesota.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to perform under pressure in fast-paced environments.
