Responsibilities
- <ul><li>Provide high-quality, patient-centered care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs.</li><li>Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.</li><li>Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop individualized care plans.</li><li>Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.</li><li>Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).</li><li>Respond promptly to emergencies and critical situations within the unit.</li><li>Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge instructions.</li></ul>
Qualifications
- <ul><li>Current and unencumbered Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.</li><li>Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred (Graduate Nurse may be considered).</li><li>Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted.</li><li>Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required based on unit specialty.</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient advocacy.</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare setting.</li><li>Commitment to professional development and evidence-based practice.</li></ul>
