Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing a comprehensive nursing care plan.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and following hospital protocols.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and health progress, responding immediately to critical situations and emergencies.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to ensure holistic patient care.
- Document all patient care services, including initial assessments, interventions, and outcomes, accurately and timely.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the State of Texas.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- CPR/BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS certifications preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift, stand, and walk for extended periods.
