Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care including assessment, medication administration, and treatment coordination
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to develop individualized care plans
- Document patient encounters accurately in electronic health records
- Maintain sterile environments and adhere to infection control protocols
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
- Respond effectively to emergency situations with critical thinking skills
Qualifications
- Current Kansas RN license (or compact license)
- BSN degree preferred; ADN with experience considered
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment with emotional resilience
- Proficiency in electronic medical documentation systems
