Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Monitor patient progress and response to interventions, making timely adjustments to care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on disease processes, discharge instructions, and preventive health measures.
- Document all patient care activities accurately and timely in electronic health records.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other interdisciplinary team members.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Tennessee.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; BSN preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a high-volume environment.
- Commitment to patient safety and quality care standards.
