Responsibilities
- Delivers high-quality patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs.
- Administers medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Collaborates with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintains accurate and timely documentation of patient care, symptoms, and treatment plans.
- Monitors patient vitals and reports significant changes to the charge nurse or physician immediately.
- Provides education and support to patients and their families regarding medical conditions and discharge plans.
Qualifications
- Current and active RN License issued by the Florida Board of Nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-stress situations effectively.
- Commitment to HIPAA compliance and patient privacy.
