Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, monitoring vital signs, and administering medications as prescribed.
- Assess patient conditions, identify needs, and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Document patient data accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, procedures, and health maintenance.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Texas Board of Nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred (New grads considered).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic medical record systems.
