Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care through comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient health status, documenting vital signs, symptoms, and changes in condition accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license to practice in the State of Illinois.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required at time of hire.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus.
