Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning in accordance with evidence-based practices
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapeutic interventions with precision and compassion
- Coordinate interdisciplinary care teams to ensure seamless patient transitions and continuity of care
- Document clinical outcomes accurately in Epic EHR systems while maintaining strict HIPAA compliance
- Mentor new nurses and participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Educate patients and families on disease management and discharge planning
- Respond effectively to emergency situations with rapid assessment and intervention
Qualifications
- Active Florida RN license with no disciplinary actions
- BSN degree required (MSN preferred for leadership candidates)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in telemetry/ICU setting
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred
- Proficiency in electronic health records (Epic EMR preferred)
- Excellent critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated cultural competence
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends/holidays
