Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient care across diverse clinical settings including med-surg, ICU, and emergency departments
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while monitoring patient responses
- Document clinical observations and patient progress using advanced electronic health record systems
- Provide patient and family education on health conditions and treatment protocols
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and regulatory standards
- Mentor junior staff and participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Illinois or Texas (or ability to obtain immediately)
- BSN degree from an accredited nursing program (MSN preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in relevant specialty
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS/NRP for specialty units)
- Demonstrated proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/Cerner experience preferred)
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Strong communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare teams
