Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in acute/critical care settings
- Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies per protocols
- Assess patient conditions and document electronic health records accurately
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams for care coordination
- Provide patient/family education on disease management and discharge planning
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and infection control protocols
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and hospital safety standards
Qualifications
- Active CA Registered Nurse license (RN) in good standing
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- 1+ years acute care hospital experience preferred
- Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills
- Experience with Epic EMR system preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
