Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by performing physical exams and reviewing medical histories.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient responses to treatments and report any changes in condition immediately.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and home care instructions.
- Document all patient care activities, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes, in the electronic health record.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the State of Texas.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
