Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in critical care settings with specialized monitoring
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Document patient assessments and care plans accurately
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for coordinated care
- Monitor and interpret diagnostic test results
- Educate patients and families on health conditions
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Active North Carolina RN license required
- BSN degree preferred (ADN with experience considered)
- 2+ years ICU/ER experience preferred
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- EMR proficiency (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends
