Responsibilities
- Monitor patient health and progress, reporting any significant changes to the physician or charge nurse immediately.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by licensed healthcare providers.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records (EHR).
- Ensure a safe and clean patient environment by adhering to infection control protocols and safety regulations.
- Respond to medical emergencies with composure and execute appropriate life-saving interventions.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license to practice in the State of California.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications are required.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment skills and critical thinking abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and maintain professionalism in high-stress situations.
